The Tramaine Hawkins Effect!
If you don't know the first name, you surely know the last. Her singing career spans over 50 years and tonight on The Sir Walter Jones Show I found a song she recorded way back in 1966. Most of us recognize her gift from Walter Hawkins Changed to Going Up Yonder to her belting out her part on What is this, but when she went SOLO, that's when I personally took notice. Songs like Look At Me, Holy One, Waymaker, my goodnight.. this is gonna be a great reflective day in Gospel music. Welcome to the show her biggest fan, Gwen Gray!!
