FORGOTTEN GEMS: Dionne Warwick, Oleta Adams, Vanessa Williams, Patti Austin
Its Tuesday, Pink Perspectives on The Sir Walter Jones Show and we want to celebrate the women in music, those forgotten gems. These women are apart of my personal UNSUNG library and as we do our "Legends" series this Black History Month, tonight I plan to talk about the backstory of some of these songs. At the close, we will play a song by the late great Maurice White of EWF, many of you didn't know that he had a solo project out in the 80's that I truly enjoyed.
