1 Cor. 3:16-17
Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the spirit of God dwelleth in you? 17 If any man defile the temple of God, him shall God destroy, for the temple of God is holy, which temple ye are.

\\u201cSin Doesn\\u2019t Live Here Anymore\\u201d is a beautiful gospel song by Candi Staton. In her lyrics, she said: This body of mine is his temple His home away from home I must keep it spotless for him It must stay ready for his coming Swept clean with truth and love That\\u2019s why sin doesn\\u2019t live here anymore.

Those are truthful & beautiful words describing the body which is the temple of God. Candi Staton is a great singer and songwriter. Some of you may know her best as a soul R&B singer, but she has made some beautiful gospel songs as well.

I remember when she appeared on the Trinity Broadcasting Network TV show \\u201cNew Direction\\u201d. Her sister Maggie Staton and Felicia Calloway would do background vocals for her. God gave Candi so much talent, but he also gave her a new direction. (Singing) New Direction That\\u2019s what you have given me.\\u201d That\\u2019s what she would sing when her show \\u201cNew Direction\\u201d would come on the air for television back in 1989.

Candi Staton is also a breast cancer survivor always thanking God. She must have done something right in her life. The Lord loves Candi, and he loves us all. Nobody lives you like the Lord.
