One of the reasons I love doing this podcast is cos you find out so much about people in such a short space of time just through talking to them about music, as you’ll learn about Derek seeing gigs all over the world, dress rehearsals in empty rooms with 2 of the biggest stars on the planet, standing next to David Beckham on the side of the stage at Glastonbury, seeing the same (and one of the biggest) bands almost 100 times (and being very friendly with them), watching a band chosen for many a Fantastival in a small support slot, being a roadie for a punk band and so much more...
