The Taliban Receives Push Back From Women Over Order To Cover Face In Public (5/10/22)
The women of Afghanistan are pushing back as much as they can over the new edict passed by the Talliban that makes it a crime if women are not covered from head to toe, in a burqa preferably, as per the Sharia council. The women of Afghanistan however are not happy. After 20 years of westernization and a certain amount of freedom to do as they wish, the harsh new rules come with a bite.
