The Prosecutor In New Mexico Has Dropped The Enhancement Charge Against Alec Baldwin (2/21/23)
Alec Baldwin was facing a minimum of five years in prison if he was convicted of involuntary manslugther with the enhancement charge. Now though, after prosecutors jumped the gun by overcharging him, they've had to walk back their initial charges and do away with the enhancement charge altogether. The move marks a major win for Alec Baldwin, although he still faces other charges, including manslugther.
