The Boys Burden In Afghanistan: Boys Are Increasingly The Lone Breadwinner Of The Family (5/23/22)
When we talk about Afghanistan, a lot of those conversations are about the security in the region and the on going hostility and conflict that is still raging from border to border. One subject that needs to be discussed more is the plight of the people. In a lot of cases, it has become so grim that kids are no longer going to school, instead they are now being relied upon as the lone breadwinners for their families.
