The war on drugs has led to some law enforcement agencies getting a bit overzealous in the way they pursue their goals. One of the most egregious examples of this is the civil asset forfeiture laws which allow law enforcement agencies to seize your property before you even have your day in court. In this episode, we see an example of this but thankfully, the money was returned to the company after the federal government stepped in.
