Russian Authorities Are Looking To Impose The Maximum Sentence On Brittney Griner (8/4/22)
Brittney Griner is nearing the end of her trial in Russia and the authorities are looking to slap her with the maximum sentence. Griner, who was stopped at an airport near Moscow was in possesion of .7 grams of liquid thc that was within a vape cartridge, has stated she wasn't aware that the vape and cartridge were still in her bag when she packed to go back to Russia but the Russian authorities aren't buying it. Instead, they look to throw the book at her for less than a sugar packet's worth of thc oil.
