OceanGate Submersible Has Rougly 24 Hours Of Oxygen Left As The Search Continues (6/21/23)

Published: June 21, 2023, 1 p.m.

The Oceangate submersible that went missing on Sunday has roughly 24 hours of oxygen left as crews continue to search for the missing vessel. According to reports, rescue planes have heard banging coming from the area where they think the submersible went missing in 30 minute intervals, but they have yet to locate the source of the noise or where it originated.

Several more ships have arrived at the site or will arrive at the site today as the minutes continue to slip away. Even if the submersible is located, experts caution that it will be a monumental task to retrieve it from the oceans depths.
