Oceangate Submersible Battery Failure Almost Led To A 24 Hour Sleep Over On The Ocean Floor (7/5/23)
According to a passenger who rode on the doomed submarine during a previous trip, they were hit with technical problems surrounding the battery. This situation led to Stockton Rush alerting the passengers that they might have to stay on the ocean floor for 24 hours waiting for the situation to rectify itself. Thankfully, that never came to pass, but it was just one of many red flags that were present leading up to this ill fated voyage.
