George R.R. Martin And His Heavy Influence On The House Of The Dragon Showrunners (8/13/22)
Towards the last few seasons of Game of Thrones, George R.R. Martin really wasn't a part of the project. In fact, Benioff and Weiss hardly spoke with him towards the end. To many observers, that is what led directly to the fall off in quality during the final stretch of the show.
House of the Dragon does not plan on repeating that mistake and the show runners and George R.R. Martin have built a close bond that is sure to safeguard the content moving forward!
