The Taliban, one-time insurgents themselves, have now become the ones who are suffering from hit and run tactics and ambushes as the new insurgency begins to pick up steam. With ambushes happening almost daily at this point, although the Taliban has been quick to deny these reports. However, those on the ground are telling a different story.
