Monday 3/4/19 - Casimir Pulaski Day
Every year the first Monday in March is marked off as Casimir Pulaski Day in the State of Illinois. As a kid I only recognized it as a day we'd have off in grammar school, so I decided to go to the Polish Museum of America and talk to a Polish Historian about who Casimir Pulaski was and why he's important. We also get a bonus explanation on Paczki day tomorrow.
