Expressive Arts Facilitator Diana believes this statement can also apply to adversity. She is a living example of triumphing over life\\u2019s adversity with resiliency. As a child, Diana was diagnosed with cerebral palsy (which mildly affects her speech and gait). But, she grew up with a tenacious determination to not to let adversity stand in the way of achieving her dreams. And that determination paid off \\u2014 Diana was the first actress with a disability to obtain a Masters of Fine Arts in Acting from California State University Long Beach. She also holds certificates in Occupational Therapy, Social Emotional Arts and is studying drama therapy!
