Top 5 of 2021 Day 5: During this Christmas season, we're sharing some of our favorite interviews of the year to allow our team to take time off for the holidays.\nKevin Roberts is the new president of The Heritage Foundation.\xa0\nRoberts says he is eager to advance the conservative movement and address some of the most pressing issues facing our nation today.\xa0\n\u201cThe top three [critical issues that we are facing right now] are education, education, and education,\u201d Roberts says, adding that conservatives will miss an \u201copportunity of a lifetime\u201d if we cannot come together and address what is \u201cbroken about the education system.\u201d\xa0\xa0\nThe immigration crisis at America\u2019s southern border and the \u201cadministrative state, the power of the executive branch to do the legislating rather than the legislative branch [doing it]\u201d are also critical issues Roberts says he looks forward to working to fix.\xa0\nRoberts is coming to the Washington, D.C.-based think tank after serving as president and CEO of the Texas Public Policy Foundation in Austin, Texas.
