Its Almost Everywhere, Scholar Says of Chinas Infiltration of Americas K-12 Schools

China\\u2019s infiltration of American K-12 schools is \\u201calmost everywhere,\\u201d according to Peter Wood, president of the National Association of Scholars.
\\u201cThat is, in every state that we\\u2019ve looked at, we have found instances of it, but I would say it\\u2019s concentrated in the feeder schools to elite education, which means mostly West Coast and East Coast, but not exclusively those,\\u201d Wood says.
\\u201cThe effort here is, China\\u2019s not just spreading around its resources promiscuously across the land. It\\u2019s looking for places where buying influence will yield results in the long term,\\u201d he adds. \\u201cSo, it\\u2019s widespread, but much more prevalent here on the East Coast and California.\\u201d
