INTERVIEW | Sen. Marco Rubio on What 'Deindustrialization' of US Has Cost the Nation

Strong communities and families, well-paying jobs, and industrial power\u2014those are three key foundations to America\u2019s success, according to Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. America was at its best when it had all three, but \u201call of them have been undermined,\u201d the Florida Republican says.\xa0\nAccording to Rubio, after the Cold War, America's leaders thought all nations were moving toward democracy and being "consumers and investors in a global market."
