INTERVIEW | Rabbi Pinchas Taylor Explains History, Power of Passover

Passover begins with a Seder meal to \u201cremember what our ancestors went through,\u201d Rabbi Pinchas Taylor says.\n\u201cYou do physical actions and experience physical tastes and motions and whatnot to \u2026 not only tell over the story, but reexperience the story as it took place,\u201d says Taylor, the author of \u201cPillars of Faith\u201d and \u201cA Jewish Guide to the Mysterious.\u201d\nPassover begins\xa0at sunset on Wednesday, and in addition to celebrating the Jews\u2019 deliverance from the Egyptians, Taylor says Passover is also a time to reflect on how we can each leave our \u201cown inner-Egypt.\u201d\n\u201cWhat are the things that are holding me back?\u201d Taylor encourages all to ask during the week of Passover. \u201cWhat is constraining me? What is limiting me in my life? And how can I make the proper steps to liberate myself? Because when a person takes that first step, God helps them along the way as well.
