INTERVIEW | Kris Vallotton on Devastating 'Pandemic of Fatherlessness' in America

b'America is suffering from a pandemic that is not a virus, it \\u201cis a pandemic of fatherlessness.\\u201d That\\u2019s according to Pastor Kris Vallotton, author of the new book, \\u201cUp Rising: The Epic Battle for the Most Fatherless Generation in History.\\u201d\\n\\u201cFifty-one percent of all children in America right now are born out of wedlock, 51%,\\u201d Vallotton, the senior associate leader of Bethel Church in Redding, California, says. \\u201cIn 1950, 4% of Americans were born out of wedlock.\\u201d\\xa0\\nThe results of children growing up without fathers in the home are devastating, Vallotton says, with data revealing that \\u201c75% of all inmates grew up without a father,\\u201d and \\u201c63% of all youth suicides come from fatherless homes.\\u201d\\xa0\\nVallotton also points to a rise in transgenderism and gay marriage as a side effect of fatherlessness, because \\u201cwhen we embrace gay marriage\\u2026 what we said is that you can have two mommies and two daddies, because mommies and daddies are interchangeable.\\u201d\\nVallotton joins \\u201cThe Daily Signal Podcast\\u201d to share his own personal story of losing his father as a young boy and how that affected his life, and to offer a hopeful solution for how children can experience the love of a father amid a fatherless generation.\\nEnjoy the show!\\n Hosted on Acast.
