President Joe Biden\\u2019s decision to authorize reserve troops to be sent to Europe is \\u201ca sign that the Ukraine policy has become just another endless war,\\u201d Sen. Josh Hawley says.

\\u201cI mean, this is all about Ukraine. This is exactly what I said would happen, that we have to send more troops there,\\u201d says Hawley, R-Mo. \\u201cWe have to spend more money there. He\\u2019s doing this at a time when our own southern border is completely overrun.\\u201d

\\u201cChild traffickers, sex trafficking, drugs everywhere. He\\u2019s doing it at a time when China is absolutely eating this administration\\u2019s lunch,\\u201d the Missouri lawmaker says. \\u201cI mean, just eating their lunch, stealing our jobs, stealing our trade, and yet what\\u2019s he doing? Thousands more troops to Europe. This will never end.\\u201d 

Hawley joins today\\u2019s episode of \\u201cThe Daily Signal Podcast\\u201d to share his message to young people using the Chinese-owned app TikTok; to discuss what he sees as the most egregious examples of government overreach and abuse; and to talk about his book, \\u201cManhood: The Masculine Virtues America Needs.\\u201d

Sen. Ted Cruz says \\u201ca whole lot more Americans dead\\u201d will be the No. 1 long-term impact if the flow of the illicit drug fentanyl flowing into the U.S. is not stopped.

\\u201cYou look at last year: We had over 100,000 overdoses last year. That\\u2019s the highest rate of overdoses in the history of our nation,\\u201d says Cruz, R-Texas. \\u201cTwo-hundred-thirty-plus years of our nation\\u2019s history. We\\u2019ve never had that until last year.\\u201d

\\u201cOf those, 70% of those were from Chinese fentanyl coming over the southern border, and it is profoundly dangerous,\\u201d he adds.
