With a pandemic winter nearly upon us, people are looking for creative ways to get outdoors for exercise and to socialize. But as Edmonton has learned, it takes some effort to get people to embrace the cold. We speak with Simon O'Byrne, an urban planner and co-chair of Edmonton's WinterCity Strategy, about what cities can do to make winter enjoyable.
