How To Contribute to The Food Craftsmen as a Guest Author

Published: July 8, 2014, 11 p.m.

Welcome to TFC. We are gearing up for season #3 of the show, so I wanted to do a few short episodes on the behind the scenes here. I wanted to break down a few basics that I think you need to know. Our overall format will remain the same in season three. We will still have inspirational stories from artisans in the food community, so if you are just checking in with us at TFC for the first time this is not the usual format of the show. We’ll spend about 30 minutes each week with a new guest, or discussing topics that affect you in your business.

  • We have been very fortunate over the past few months to have a few select guest authors join us inside the pages at FC.com
  • We have opened the doors to more contributors to The Food Craftsmen: foodcraftsmen.com/contribute
    • If you have experience in
      • Marketing
      • Product Creation
      • Package or logo design
      • Distribution
      • Social Media
      • We want to hear from you.
    • The process is very simple. Go to foodcraftsmen.com/contribute. Read the guest posting guidelines. They will apply to all formats of content.
    • There you will find our guidelines for content we accept. If you’re not a writer that is ok as well. You can produce a short video (5 minutes or less) with information that will help others in The Food Craftsmen community get over a hurdle they might be facing.
    • If you are more inclined to tell your story through pictures, and want to create a gallery telling the story of an artisan producer, all you have to do is email me. I will share with you how you can join in as well.
    • If audio storytelling is your thing. All you have to do is send me the mp3 file via email or dropbox. We will then use that audio either in a podcast episode or as a stand alone post on The Food Craftsmen.
