We reported last week that Arrow Video was releasing the original Candyman\\xa0on bluray with a brand new 4K restoration transfer, but it now looks like Shout Factory\\u2019s horror and sci-fiction label Scream Factory will be releasing their own deluxe limited edition in the US. Strangely, it\\u2019s only going to be a 2K transfer scanned from the new 4K restoration that was supervized by director Bernard Rose. Also, most of the extras are the same as the Arrow edition, but Scream does have some new extras of their own that will make this edition worth owning. The release date is November 20, 2018 with a price tag of $34.93. Make sure to grab your copy today while it\\u2019s still available because I\\u2019m sure it will go fast. I\\u2019m also digging Scream Factory\\u2019s two different slipcovers over the Arrow Video cover.

\\xa0According to the site Bleeding Cool, comic actor Seth MacFarlene and writer Brannon Braga (of Star Trekfame) are working together to bring Clive Barker\\u2019s famous short story collection Books of Blood to the small screen as a anthology series for Hulu. I\\u2019ll admit that\\u2019s a strange team to be developing it, but both work on the show The Orville together which is popular. Keep in mind that none of this has been confirmed by Clive Barker\\u2019s camp, so it could be a rumor. You know how the internet is. I really hope it isn\\u2019t. I\\u2019d love a TV show for the Books of Blood.
