On today's 'BradCast':\xa0 At long last, North Carolina's 9th Congressional District held its do-over election, after a massive, criminal GOP absentee ballot election fraud scheme derailed the contest in 2018. The race was seen as a potential bellwether for 2020 and a referendum on Donald Trump. According to the reported results -- unverified by any human being -- Republican Dan Bishop defeated Democrat McCready by just over 2 percent. Given the fraud last time, and the importance that the GOP had placed on this race, McCready's team could petition to examine the results, but he very quickly conceded on Tuesday night based on the unofficial tally. An unusual anomaly also appeared on Election Night:\xa0 McCready's vote tally actually decreased as more votes were added, actually going backward. There could be a perfectly reasonable explanation -- a typo, a non-nefarious transcription error, etc.\u2013 and we'll report that if comes to light. But the anomaly underscores the importance of an effort in Pennsylvania, where a group of citizen election integrity advocates' petitioned for a re-examination of a new, 100% unverifiable touchscreen system purchased by Philadelphia. Cybersecurity expert KEVIN SKOGLUND, Chief Technologist for the Pennsylvania-based Citizens for Better Elections, explains the outrageous results of that re-examination, conducted in secret, that confirmed 3 of the petitioners' 10 concerns but failed to examine the rest. Skoglund explains shocking weaknesses confirmed by the report, including a vulnerability that allows the machine to add votes to the computer-marked paper ballot summary card AFTER it has been verified by the voter. Elections officials recertified the new system anyway. Similarly unverifiable and easily hackable computerized Ballot Marking Devices are being deployed across the nation, underscoring the important work being done by election integrity groups BEFORE these dangerous voting systems are deployed for U.S. elections in 2020...
