But that can change this November if voters fight like hell and turn out in massive numbers to allow Democrats to hold the US House and pick up at least two seats in the U.S. Senate, in order to reform the filibuster and codify those rights into laws. New evidence reveals the deep corruption of Donald Trump's disgraced former Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, the front-runner to win a new U.S. House seat in Montana. Georgia Republican U.S. senate nominee and former NFL great Herschel Walker, despite lying about his past and offering inane, barely comprehensible comments on the campaign trail, is in an inexplicably close race with Democratic Sen. Rafael Warnock. Abortion trigger bans went into effect in Idaho, Tennessee and Texas. A total of 14 states now have eliminated women's reproductive rights with few or no exceptions. A federal judge in Idaho struck down one of the state's most draconian abortion restrictions. In Florida, voters kicked an anti-abortion, anti-gay state lawmaker and an anti-abortion judge out of office. In Texas, a federal court struck down part of the state's voter suppression law affecting college students. The North Carolina state Supreme Court ruled that GOP lawmakers elected via unconstitutional racial gerrymandering could not amend the state constitution to further restrict voting. Arkansas federal court rejected a draconian law limiting assistance to voters. California regulators voted to phase out gasoline-powered cars by 2036.
