On today's 'BradCast':\xa0 New election rules promulgated by the Republican-dominated Georgia State Board of Elections have raised alarm among Democrats for their potential to open up opportunities to cause post-election chaos that could delay certification of the state's 2024 election results. Such chaos in a critical battleground state like Georgia could, in turn, take the decision of who won the election away from voters and give it to Republican-controlled state legislatures, Trump-packed courts, or even the GOP-majority in the U.S. House to determine the next president. One of the nation's most knowledgeable experts on Georgia's election laws and systems, MARILYN MARKS, of the non-profit Coalition for Good Governance, explains what Georgia's new rules actually do, and why she believes they will improve transparency and actually help Democrats guard against election chicanery.
