The record swarm of tornadoes continues across the Midwest, as some 53 twisters touched down in eight different states in a single day, marking a record-tying 11th straight day with at least eight tornado strikes. In Dayton, OH, a KKK rally on Saturday brought out 9 Klansmen and 500 to 600 counter-protesters. Far-right tele-evangelist Franklin Graham (son of the late Billy Graham) used his tax-exempt religious pulpit to call for a "day of prayer" for Donald Trump, claiming no president has been more "attacked" by his "enemies." Abraham Lincoln dissents. The wingnuttery continued in Fresno, CA as its minor league baseball franchise apologized for "celebrating" Memorial Day with a video tribute featuring a montage of America's "enemies of freedom" that featured Kim Jong Un, Fidel Castro and Democratic Congresswoman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.\xa0 The U.S. Supreme Court has placed a hold on two different lower appeals court rulings that would have required Republican legislatures in Ohio and Michigan to draw new, fair Congressional maps for 2020 to end their unconstitutional partisan gerrymandering of districts. In Texas, Secretary of State David Whitley was forced to resign in the wake of his false claims that tens of thousands of non-citizens had voted illegally; the state must now pay voter plaintiffs $450,000 for their legal costs and fees over the attempted illegal voter purge. South Bend, IN Mayor Buttigieg, a 2020 Democratic presidential candidate, criticized Trump's draft dodging during the Vietnam War by claiming a "disability," underscoring that Trump, who now pretends to revere the military, was willing to exploit the system and his wealth to avoid the draft and force someone else take his place in Vietnam...
