'BradCast' 5/2/2023 (Deadline Hollywood, Deadline Debt Ceiling; Another Trump fraud)
On today's 'BradCast':\xa0 Time is running out, with major deadlines for both Hollywood producers and Congressional Republicans holding the nation's economy hostage. The Writer's Guild of America is officially on strike, halting production on the late-night comedy shows that are a primary (accurate!) news source for Americans. The Treasury Department says the U.S. government will default on June 1, earlier than expected, if Republicans continue holding the nation's debt ceiling hostage, which in turn will blow up the economy. A handful of Republicans in GOP-controlled state legislatures in South Carolina and Nebraska voted to protect abortion rights. A new secret report, commissioned by the Trump Campaign but never released, confirmed that the 2020 election was not stolen from Donald Trump. Trump was briefed on the report's findings of no evidence of fraud, yet continued to lie to his supporters, raising $250 million on fraudulent claims he knew to be fraudulent.
