On today's 'BradCast':\xa0 Donald Trump's escalating trade war with China sent world markets plummeting after China announced it would retaliate against Trump's 25 percent tariff increase on Friday with a similar tariff on $60 billion in US experts -- meaning Americans will pay exorbitant new import taxes (which are NOT paid by China, as Trump repeatedly falsely insists). Trump on Monday threatened to add new taxes to ALL goods made in China if they don't kowtow to his demands, which experts say could tip the U.S. economy into recession. Trump and his allies are blocking more than 20 separate investigations in what experts -- including former Republican Congress members and legal staffers -- cite as a growing, unprecedented crisis between the two co-equal branches. In Florida, a judge has ordered the state to comply with the Voting Rights Act and supply election materials for Spanish-speaking voters before the 2020 primaries \u2013 key for voters who relocated to the state from Puerto Rico after devastating Hurricane Maria. In North Carolina, Republican primary voters on Tuesday will select from a crowded field in a do-over election scheduled for this fall, because the November 2018 contest was not certified amid revelations of a massive criminal absentee ballot fraud scheme involving the previous Republican candidate. In Georgia, plaintiffs are challenging the results of the 2018 Lt. Governor race in court, after more than 125,000 votes inexplicably went "missing" on the state's unverifiable voting machines but not on hand-marked paper absentee ballots.
