Encore: original air-date 4-12-2023. On today's 'BradCast':\xa0 It's been a tough week for Fox 'News,' as jury selection gets underway in Dominion Voting Systems' $1.6 billion defamation suit lawsuit against the cable network for knowingly airing false claims that the 2020 election was rigged against Donald Trump. The case is important because Fox is now the most dangerous institution in America - - not due to their Republican politics, but due to the danger they pose to democracy itself.\xa0 Fox has reportedly settled with a Venezuelan businessman the network falsely named in its baseless 2020 election claims. On Wednesday, the judge in the Dominion case sanctioned Fox attorneys for withholding evidence and making very serious 'misrepresentations to the court.' A major shareholder filed suit against Fox owner Rupert Murdoch and top executives for violating fiduciary duty in airing the false election claims. Then longtime political strategist SIMON ROSENBERG, President of NDN/New Policy Institute, explains his new project, 'Get to 55.' Rosenberg was one of the very, very few who accurately predicted voters would not deliver a 'red wave' for Republicans in the 2022 midterm elections. Rosenberg explains how the concerted effort to mobilize the youth vote successfully flipped the Wisconsin Supreme Court to a liberal majority for the first time in 15 years. Rosenberg details new organizing efforts to grow the pro-democracy coalition to increase the Democratic President's margin of victory from 51 percent to 55 percent, help Republicans break free from MAGA extremism, and why doing so is critical to ensure the survival of democracy against autocracy.
