'BradCast' 3/4/2020 (Super Tuesday voting meltdown w/ L.A. County poll workers)

On today's 'BradCast':\xa0 Who could have predicted there would be a voting meltdown on Super Tuesday in a number of states?\xa0 Oh, yeah, we did. Voting ground to a near halt in a number of states that rely on electronic pollbooks and unverifiable computer touchscreen Ballot Marking Devices (BMDs) \u2013 including in major cities in Texas and California -- triggering hours-long lines in several states. In\xa0 Los Angeles County, elections officials introduced a costly and complex computerized touchscreen system for first use that experienced major failures, as e-pollbooks slowed down to a crawl and BMDs reportedly flipped votes, suffered paper jams, or did not work at all. One L.A. County official estimated that a whopping 20% of the new BMD machines had failed at one point on Super Tuesday. We're joined today by two L.A. County election workers, LARRY DILG and 'DOUG', to talk about their impossibly long days of service, and what went wrong (and what went right) at their respective voting centers on L.A. County's new voting system. Also today: the reported results across the country from Super Tuesday, in which Joe Biden surged to unexpected victories in 10 states, Bernie Sanders won four states, including California (subject to change as the state completes its partial tallies). Billionaire Mike Bloomberg, who dumped half a billion dollars to win zero states, dropped out and endorsed Joe Biden.\xa0 Sen. Elizabeth Warren, the only other remaining candidate in the race to have won delegates, is reportedly assessing the outlook on how and if she will move forward in what now appears to be a two-man race for the Democratic nomination...
