Russian bombs fell on Babi Yar, a Holocaust memorial site in Kyiv where some 34,000 Ukrainians were slaughtered by Nazis in two days in 1941 - - a bizarre twist to Putin's false, offensive claims that he is focused on "de-Nazification" of Ukraine.\xa0 The Russian-owned Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline is on the verge of bankruptcy. International Energy Agency members will release millions of barrels of oil from their strategic reserves to ease soaring energy prices - - but accelerating the transition away from fossil fuels entirely would be better to end the control of petro-state dictators.
