On today's 'BradCast':\xa0 Russian President Vladimir Putin falsely and repeatedly lied that Russia had no intention or plan to invade Ukraine. On Thursday, the unhinged Putin chose the most aggressive possible option, unleashing a brutal invasion of the sovereign nation of Ukraine. Before ordering the assault, Putin chillingly warned that any attempts to intervene from outsiders would be 'lead to consequences you have never seen in history.' Verified sources report that hundreds have been killed and injured in the attack over the past 24 hours in Ukraine. Mass protests have erupted in at least 52 Russian cities, at great personal risk to the protesters, condemning Putin's invasion. The world has begun to speak, largely in unison, against Putin's hostility, instituting severe sanctions against Russian banks and oligarchs and their family members. President Biden announced he was ramping up new sanctions, charging in no uncertain terms that 'Putin is the aggressor' who 'chose this war and will bear the consequences,' vowing that 'freedom will prevail.' We have previously reported on various missteps made by both the U.S. and NATO over the decades, and we oppose Russian aggression just as we have opposed U.S. aggression in the past. There is NO justification whatsoever for Putin's unprovoked war against Ukraine, and it is now an exceedingly dangerous tinderbox for the world.
