'BradCast' 12/9/2020 (Indicted, corrupt Texas AG asks SCOTUS to reverse 2020 election)
On today's 'BradCast':\xa0 The Trump Campaign and its supporters lost even more court cases on Wednesday in their corrupt attempts to nullify the 2020 election results, undermine democracy and the will of the American people, in order to steal the election. The MAGA mob escalated death threats and violent rhetoric against Republican lawmakers and elected officials who refuse to appease Trump. In Texas, the wildly corrupt, already-indicted state Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a widely mocked lawsuit directly with the US Supreme Court to nullify all lawful votes cast by voters in four swing states that Trump clearly lost (Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia). Paxton is reportedly under federal felony investigation, so he could likely use a pre-emptive pardon from the outgoing president. We explain the ostensible basis for the suit, which relies on a radical reading of the U.S. Constitution and recycles previously debunked allegations, and its many irregularities. But to Trump, facts don't matter - threatening and strong-arming Republican stooges into doing his bidding is all that matters, whether those stooges are in GOP state legislatures or on Trump's stolen and packed U.S. Supreme Court. The terrified incumbent Republican U.S. Senators in Georgia, both facing serious challenges from Democrats in two runoffs on January 5 that will determine control of the U.S. Senate, issued statements supporting the Texas Attorney General's attempt to rob Georgia's voters. Also today:\xa0 the New York State Comptroller announced that the state's enormous pension fund - one of the largest in the world - will begin divesting its holdings in the fossil fuel sector.
