General Motors announced on Thursday that it will end the production of all gasoline and diesel powered cars and SUVs by 2035, signaling a potential sea change (both figuratively and literally) in American automobile production. Republican officials and Fox 'News' dupes freak out over the bad news for their fossil fuel industry funders (even if it's great news for their constituents!) in the wake of President Joe Biden's ambitious climate action agenda to create millions of jobs in transitioning the nation to clean energy - which includes replacing the entire federal fleet with all-electric vehicles. Biden signed executive orders expanding access to healthcare, undoing Trump's efforts to prevent millions of Americans who have lost their jobs during the pandemic from obtaining affordable health insurance. Biden's economic stimulus plans come not a moment too soon, as new economic data revealed that 2020 saw the biggest collapse of the American economy since World War II. The new report shows the average annual GDP growth under President Obama far outpaced that of supposed business genius Donald Trump. DHS has warned that brain-poisoned, misinformed MAGA wingnuts are plotting to kill Democratic officials and overthrow the American government. One even got elected to Congress - freshman Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) was recently found to have supported calls for the assassinations of Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton, and stalked and harassed a survivor of a school shooting.
