On today's 'BradCast':\xa0 In the six weeks since billionaire Elon Musk purchased Twitter, his antics and bizarre management decisions have unleashed chaos and a surge of hate speech and rightwing disinformation on the global social media network, pushing advertisers and users to flee. Musk gave a handful of journalists selective access to internal communications of former executives, but none of the 'Twitter Files' show evidence of political bias against Trump or rightwing figures, as he falsely touted. Musk's actions have devolved from dumb to dangerous, like dissolving the company's volunteer Trust and Safety Council. Pseudonymous progressive blogger 'SPOCKO,' longtime media activist, discusses what he learned when he personally worked with Musk back in the 1990s, and explains actions to push back and other pressure methods to 'try to reduce potential harm' from Musk's Twitter meltdown. Also today:\xa0 Outgoing Oregon Gov. Kate Brown (D) commuted the death sentences of all 17 prisoners on death row.
