Defending New Brunswick Muskie Using Science

Abigale Culberson and her team from the University of New Brunswick recently conducted a series of studies to assess the Muskie population in the Saint John River, and their sustainability based on current and potential fishing pressure. The model they created reveals a 30% annual mortality rate for these non-native fish, a level anticipated to increase as fishing pressure rises.
