Bernie is broadcasting from Friendly's Sports Bar and Grill at 3971 Bayless Ave. in south St. Louis County. Bernie tells the story about the time he missed out on a chance to meet Bruce Springsteen backstage after not noticing Bob Costas trying to get his attention at a concert. Bernie then looks into SLU's disappointing loss at Fordham Tuesday as being indicative of why Travis Ford will go down as a good, but not great coach. He compares that contest to many of Mizzou's shortcomings over the past decade.
