Do you ever feel like you’re running in place - always moving but never accomplishing anything? Or, maybe you feel like you’re snacking on life’s metaphorical hors d’oeuvres, instead of feasting on a three course meal?
You’re in good company! Life is good at creating distractions. When we become preoccupied with menial treats or empty calories, we might fill up on life’s junk food instead of experiencing the sustainable dishes ready to be enjoyed.
Today on the Apple Seed, we’re enjoying our symbolic broccoli as we reflect on “that which cannot satisfy” - the potato chips of life that might prevent us from physical, emotional, or social nourishment. Storytellers Pam Faro, Andy Irwin, Joe Herrington, Kim Weitkamp, and Judith Black prepare a most enriching feast for today’s episode!
