Our guest, Sherrilyn Ifill, a dedicated lawyer and the former president of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund, is launching the 14th Amendment Center for Law & Democracy at Howard University, which promotes the vision of equality that the 14th Amendment promised \u2013 civil rights for all US citizens. She talks about how we as citizens can make the vision of equality a reality and why it is so important to know our American history.
