Cross-Border Orchestra in a Pandemic
December is normally a busy time for the International Symphony Orchestra. The semi-professional group of roughly 100 Canadian and American musicians based in Sarnia, Ont., and Port Huron, Michigan have had to halt their shows since the COVID-19 pandemic shut down the border.
