b'Shaheed hails from the West side of Detroit and is primed for greatness in today\'s hip hop and R&B genre. Shaheed\'s innovated style, charismatic delivery, truthful messages and intoxicating beats reveals his wide range of talent. Shaheed gained most of his musical influences from his Grandfather the late and great singer/songwriter Lawrence Payton of the Four Tops and veteran songwriter and producer Billy Davis. Shaheed began writing music at the age of 8 and continues to nurture his craft long side his brother writer/producer and artist Kahlif. In 2004 Shaheed formed hip hop group "New Era" with his 2 brothers and sister. Shortly after the group was formed Shaheed entered the science program at Alabama State University.\\nAfter graduating from Alabama State University with a degree in Biology in 2009, Shaheed went back to his first passion of music.
