CyberSecurity is a hot topic. It makes the news in all the wrong ways as bad guys keep hacking private data. Many times breaches occur because there simply aren't enough professionals in the field. This episode is a conversation with cybersecurity expert and local community organizer, Michael Holcomb. Michael brings cybersecurity professionals and novices together regularly at ISSA meetings. He is also responsible for bringing together the second BSides Greenville event. Coming up in March, BSides Greenville is a full day of learning and meeting others in the field, lunch included, for $20. It's going to be a great use of your time, and is, of course, a steal at that price. Whether you go or not, this is a great way to learn how you can get connected to other people in information security. Listen to Phil Yanov's conversation with Michael Holcomb.

NB: At the time of publication, they HAVE activated the waitlist for the BSidesGreenville event. (It's sold out!) I'd recommend getting on the waitlist just in case they are able to make more space.
