In this week's episode of "Teachers in Transition," Kitty continues in her series on dealing with the stress of the remaining months and weeks of the school year. This week, she talks about what you may need to do if you find yourself working in a toxic environment.

A toxic environment is generally thought of as a place where you don't feel supported and, indeed, sometimes feel that you are being sabotaged or set up to fail. This happens way too often to far too many teachers.

You may find yourself working with colleagues who fail to be supportive, or you may have an administrator who is undermining you at every turn. Regardless of the cause, there are certain things you can do to protect yourself, and that's what Kitty talks about in this episode.
