About Our Guest
Joseph S. Pizzo is a seventh-grade language arts teacher of 42 years at Black River Middle School in Chester Township, NJ (Morris County). \xa0He was recently named the 2016 Educator of the Year for the NJ Association for Middle-Level Education.
Joseph is also a former president of the NJ Council of Teachers of English and their Educator of the Year in 2005. \xa0Recognized as a WMGQ-98.3 FM \u201cTeacher Who Makes Magic\u201d in 2013, Pizzo serves as a member of Scholastic\u2019s National Teacher Advisory Board.
