Introducing 2 New Educational Podcasts
This week on the TechEducator Podcast, we welcomed two new podcasts hosted by three very inspiring educators. \xa0 Teaching Tales Podcast Host:\xa0Brent Coley Website:\xa0BrentColey.com YouTube:\xa0youtube.com/brentcoley Subscribe on iTunes About Brent Coley Brent began his career in education in 1996, teaching 4th and 5th grade for 15 years before transitioning into administration. He is currently Principal of\xa0Alta Murrieta Elementary\xa0in the Murrieta Valley Unified School District. He is also an Instructional Technology Leader in his district, helping teachers infuse technology into their teaching to support student learning. Passionate about educational technology, Brent is always on the lookout for new ways tech can engage students and families while increasing student achievement. While in the classroom, he used\xa0math review videos\xa0and\xa0iPod flash cards\xa0to promote 24/7 learning, and his students shared their learning with the world through their\xa0daily blog\xa0and\xa0classroom podcast. Though no longer updated, his award-winning classroom website (mrcoley.com) is still accessed by students and teachers all over the world. Now in an administrative role, Brent strives to support teachers to improve their practice and integrate technology into their classrooms to maximize student learning. He connects with the community he serves through his\xa0monthly video message,\xa0Remind,\xa0Facebook,\xa0Twitter, and\xa0school website. He also shares what he has learned through\xa0Twitter (@brentcoley), his\xa0blog, and his new\xa0podcast ("Teaching Tales"). Brent has a passion for sharing with other educators. Over the past several years, he has had the privilege of presenting at educational technology conferences at the district, regional, and state level. Brent is also the co-organizer of EdCamp Murrieta. When not working, Brent loves spending time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys reading and playing golf.
