b'General Motors (GM) extends shut down of the Michigan assembly facility to mid-October while slashing production at seven North American plants due to the chip shortage. On the other hand Ford Motor Co. (F) invests an additional $150M in F-150 lightning production and adds over 450 more jobs across three plants in North America.
