Emily Grinberg is a freelance photographer based in NYC, with experience photographing in London and Boston scenes as well. She specializes in live music, portrait, and atmosphere photography, with her crowd shots beautifully capturing the vibe of each concert. Also working full time with a record label, she has expertise in the music industry from an outside view of the photo pit.

This is an interview series to feature badass concert photographers. When I started my career in music photography, there weren\'t a lot of resources out there for women, and I was at a loss for who to turn to, who would understand my concerns and questions. This series was started for two reasons: in hopes to help those starting their careers and get the advice and tips that they need, as well as creating a safe space for everyone to talk about experiences & prejudices faced in the music industry, share advice, and how they got to where they are today.
