It is officially 2021 Suns Mode Offseason.... season????
All joking aside, the Suns Mode podcast gets back on its true footing much like the Suns have done to start the offseason. There is a master plan. Many have called it something dumb or cliche, like a process or a scheme. This is a master plan. While the Suns have been quiet compared to other teams making splash moves, they have made moves to cement themselves as a title contending team for the 2021-22 season.
This week on Suns Mode, we talk about the deals that the Suns have made over the past week, and how they will serve as supplemental pieces on the Suns roster. We also explore a couple of the options left in the free agent market, and the risks associated with said options. Possible acquisitions of players via trade are also discussed. The other main topic of the episode revolves around the Suns' contract extension scenarios; more specifically why they have not happened yet.
